Letting you all know that I am still working on Kyle's Mission, and I've uploaded some screens of work in progress. The first level (actually, I call it Level - 0 since it just is a walk around level) is taking longer than i thought. I can't give you an approximate release date, but I'm only really able to work on weekends.
Okay, okay. Thanks to the people on my forum who helped through this frustrating time, MotS is now working on my computer. Therefore, Kyle's Mission will be on MotS as planned. Check back for new screens since I am going to rebuild the first level.
Due to circumstances beyond my control (not being able to istall MotS) I have decided to switch the levels for Kyle's Mission over to JK. However, this will mean a slight change in the levels I had planned, but hopefully, you will still see progress. I'll try posting some production shots soon.
Hey all, just letting you know that I am going to start work again. However, most of my projects will probably be for Jedi Knight, Dark Forces 2. I'm running Windows 7 and for some reason I can't get either JK or Mots to work. There's more in my forum for my console.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I'm desperate. I'm running Mysteries of the Sith on Windows Vista and I am able to play it on the computer, but a few minutes into actual gameplay, the computer automatically goes into power save mode then shuts down. Does anyone know how to run the game without the computer crashing every time? I really appreciate it.
I've decided to try for a whole new level series, this one starring Kyle Katarn. Hopefully, my computer will keep cooperating and I'll be able to get some levels done. The first level is close to done but I need some help on it. I'll upload some screens in a while.

In the coming weeks, I'll be mapping out some ideas for follow up levels for Imperial Outpost. So you may not hear anything for a while. If anyone has any ideas on what should come next, please say so.

Okay, the level is done. But for some reason, when I save it(the .goo file) to the episode directory, it doesn't appear with the other files, but when I start up the game, its in the Episode list. i cant post the level without a .goo file. Any ideas?
Sorry for that LONG delay in news. I was taking a break. In the next few days I'll release Imperial Outpost. I wish I could add objectives but I guess that'll have to be left out. Check back later this week for news!
Well, since it's been like a week after I posted the level release question, I think I will go ahead and release it. By the way, anyone know what happened to the Terror on Sigma story that was on Command Chamber? I've been wanting to read it.
I'm actually wondering whether or not to have any objectives. Of course this won't mean that you're list will be empty. If anyone else thinks I should put in goals, i could use some help, if not, I'll go ahead and release the level.
Heya! The level is done, in a sense. All that is left is the objectives and a few little things here and there. I'm also going to redo the laboratroy level. That part I wasn't too happy with.

I'm back! My band won the festival in San Antonio. Anyways, work is back on, and right now the big deal is goals(ie:how do I make 'em!). Will post later.
Okay, Imperial Outpost EX is almost done! There are just a few things left to do, such as cutscenes, secret areas, etc. I'm going on a trip with my school's band to San Antonio, so the level might be a little late coming out.
The level is coming along fine! i'm not gonna set any deadlines in case of a major setback, but so far so good. I also uploaded some new screens.
Architectually speaking, the level is done. Right now I'm working on the lighting. Next will come the cogs, then the enemies, etc. I'll post some screens later.
I've actually gone a long way with this level. I'd put in more screenshots put my computer is stupid and doesn't register when I take screens. Come to think of it, where do the screenshots end up when I take them? Will update later with ZED 3D preview shots.
i'm sorry to say this but the City of Bardon is no more. I WILL post the city thus far, but it will no longer be worked on. I hope no one is dissapointed. I'd rather redo Imperial Outpost anyway. I won't forget the help you all gave on the forum. I'll post some screens of progress later.
I've actually been cosidering remaking Cardia, as I'm becoming frustrated with it. If anyone thinks I should remake Imperial Outpost(which I've kinda been doing)just say so. I wanted Cardia to be better than it is right now as a follow up to Imperial Outpost. As of now the project is still on my computer but I don't know for how much longer.
Ok, I start ZED, select Cardia from the dropdown menu, and I get a message that says: Warning: Some resources weren't found! Check JK settings in Options
Info: Check JK directory setting - it appears to be wrong
So, now I can't open Cardia to work on it. Understand, this happened a few days ago. Someone help me. I do NOT want to have to start this over...however...NO!

Well, that was a good break. But now I'm getting back to work seeing that I'm WAY behind. I'll try and get something up by Friday.
OK, my new computer is a Vista(windows) and when I put in Mots(or JK) neither seem to work. Intros work but I can't see the menus. Anyone got JK on a Vista and it works. Until then, I can't work on Cardia.
My new computer is finally here and I've set work to continue sometime in February. Cardia is BACK!
I can see that everyone has been busy since I posted last. Unfortunately, my new compy is still not here yet so work is still stalled.
I've been gone for the past couple of days. Turns out I WON'T be putting the file here. I do however, have it on a CD and in a safe place. It may be a while until I can get back to work again. But until this mess with my compy is solved, Cardia will be the first priority.

My compy has been acting erractic and says there's a virus on it. I fear for the safety of my Cardia project so as a precaution, I'm uploading the PD here for now. Will write back when my compy is okay again and its safe to continue work.
Hi all! There are now 3 possible ways into the next section of the city. My only problem now would be how to have you enter the same level, but from a different way. I won't tell the exits now, but I still need to finish up one final large area. Still lacking are the secret areas, puzzles,difficulty settings,etc.
You'll notice that I deleted some screens. That''s because, I didn't really like the areas and felt they could be better. I'm going to reconstruct them to be more city like. I'm also GOING to add a subway that will take you to another section to the city. I don't know about a sewer system though. Check back for more.
Taking a break from editing, I put in Jedi Knight to play some of my favorite JK levels and some MP levels. I downloaded Haven Xeroxed from the Hub and got the **** scared outta me. So, I made a list of the creepiest levels for JK and MotS

I download a 3do from Massassi
Bring up the template creator
give it a name,template,and press ok
click reload templates
put it in the level
save jkl and gob(goo)
start the game
select my level
it loads and then fffttt. crash. Any ideas why it may be doing this??
Hey, everyone! V'been working on finishing the city. The new library is almost done and so far no snags(that is, no random crashes). I think its when I template a new 3do and put it in the level but not always.
I had an idea for a skin pack. The crew of the Nostromo from Alien. Seemed like a good idea at the time, and I would really like to do it. Anyone else intrested?
Okay, I deleted all the enemies(excluding civilians)from my level, put back the custom startup cog, and the level worked again. There's a new screen of work so far. I think I'll finish the architechture first, then put in enemies and difficulty settings. I'm still not sure how deleting all the enemies made it worked...
Whilst still trying to figure out what's wrong with Cardia(still expanding city even with crash)I've managed to make this bridge of a Star Destroyer. The rooms are based of blue-prints I found(I need to find where so I can credit them). This level was made in MotS but can be used for JK. Enjoy.
Now we've got another problem. I start the level, it loads up, I see approximentally two seconds of my level, then CRASH! I don't have anymore corrupt 3dos(not to my knowledge)and I'm sure there aren't more than 600 in the level. Any answers please??
Found out the problem. One of my female civilian 3dos seemed to knock the level out of whack. Don't see why but when I deleted them all, the level started working again. Work continues this weekend.
I've been working on my level and ran into no problems but now something is starting to happen. I start up my game, Choose my level from the episode list, wait for it to load, and when its done loading my computer tells me "MotS has had a problem and needs to close." Someone please help me. I do NOT want to start this one over.

Although I'm not working on Impost EX until City of Bardon is done, I have mapped it out so I'll know what it'll look like. Sorry for the bad picture quality, but someone broke into my house and stole my digital camera so this is as good as it'll get.
I had an idea, maybe you can find multiple routes to the inner city and the same have multiple entrances. If anyone can figure out how to do that(and make jobs for you to do in exchange for info and items)please tell me.
Just thought I'd post an update to let you all know I'm still alive. In case you guessed otherwise, I quit Imperial Outpost EX(for now)and am right back on Cardia. Unfortunately, it won't be ready for Massassi's level contest. I want this one to be better than Impost(Imperial Outpost)so keep checking back for more.
I am currently searching for any other sites that had JK and MotS levels other than the Big Three(Massassi,JKHub,Command Chamber). I found one site known as planet phillip that has single player addons for JK I had never seen before. If anyone finds any sites that are still active, please say so in the forum.

I'm seriously at the end of my rope. I just can't figure out what to do next! Should I keep expanding the level or just leave it as is(it is now much bigger than the demo I uploaded). I've got a good puzzler to beat the level and most areas aren't cruical to winning it. Man I hate being stuck.

I really hate to say it but the CD only had Imp freighter uprosa. Its possible that I made a second CD but i dunno.

I'm considering redoing my Imperial Outpost leve before continuing to Cardia. I'd like a response before I do anything. Until I get one I'll still work on Cardia but I had some ideas for the Outpost. I may just redo the city level. I like to sketch out what I do before I actually do it. Much better than making it up as you go. Please give a response. I'm eager to work on both.
What up? Got some screens of the new area. I have a question though, I've got a big blank stretch of wall with nothing on it? What's the best way to deal with flat stretches of nothingness. Also, I'm trying to find a Han Solo and Chewbaca model to replace the ones in the screens. Anyone know where to get some?
I know those two are basically different pictures of the same room, but thats all I had time to do. I plan the level to be larger and have a Katrassi/Tatooine feel. Should come up with new areas soon!
I figured because this is gonna be a new level series, it needs a name. All the others have one:The New Empire,One Rebel's Sacrifice,A Pirate's Tale, etc. I wanted to use Legends of the Force, but that one was already taken. So I decided STAR WARS:Forgotten Tales.
These mostly follow the plight of David Nealth, New Republic soldier. This part takes place after Imperial Outpost when you take the transport. Check back for screenies.

Sorry for the long wait in posting. The level is really close to being done. I've fixed the character 3do, but now I'm having trouble with something else. I want to start the level out with no weapons at all(the idea is that you pick up a blastech from a knocked out guard and go from there.)can anyone give me any tips? Oh yeah, uploaded some new screenshots.
Getting some new areas done. I would say the level is about 70% complete. Boy won't Dave be in for a surprise when he gets off that planet. Well, gotta get back to editing.
Progress is going slow, seeing as that I have to make stuff up as I go. Thankfully, JED can keep up with my ideas where JKEdit could not. I've also uploaded some new screenshots. Many areas I had to revamp to make them as least boxy as I want.

The headline says it all. My compy underwent a massive overhaul and I lost all my files for the level. Do not lose hope as I may just reboot and start over again(I didn't like the first version that much anyway)and start over. Keep those fingers crossed!!
