At some points when I extrude a new sector, some of its wall textures are only rendered as one-color solid textures. Why does this happen, and how can I prevent it?

im not too familiar with jkedit, but will it fix it if you stitch the texture with that of a nearby surface?

I have experienced that before, a glitch in JKedit. all you have to do is click on the texture coordinate tool, touch either the xyz or other buttons and it will revert back to the full texture and go away from the solid look, remember to stitch the surface by merging them together if it is the same texture. Also you could try the merge surface as well or use the align vertices feature, that does it to sometimes.
