I installed it, updated it, downloaded and installed the d3drm.dll it was asking for, and it opens.

However, double clicking a surface in 3D preview doesn't give me the texture selection screen. In fact I can't even select a surface in the preview at all, I have to select it in the editing screen instead.

Stitching doesn't work. Haven't tried many other things, but immediately noticed these things, so I was wondering if anyone else has run into this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I'm picking up JK editing again after all this time. I got JK to run on Win7, I'm all excited, but no working ZED.

Have you tried running it as administrator?

Not specifically, no. I'm on an admin account though. I was assuming that was the same thing. Apparently not, otherwise I wouldn't have that option. (I'm kind of new to Win 7 and Vista).

I'll try that, thanks. I'm on a different comp right now.

I've run into this problem myself. If you go into Options, under the tab 3D Preview you can select different Direct3D/OpenGL Devices. Try each one and see which one looks good (16-bit textures and thing/3do visibility) as well as being able to select via the 3D Preview.

Running as admin didn't change anything.

Edward's tip fixed it! Mr Green

I remember now I fiddled with the 3D preview settings, because large surfaces were looking glitchy. (Looks like they have seams when you move around in ZED)

I changed it to a different setting and now it's working!

Thanks guys!
