How do I apply an ambient sound effect to different sectors in JkEdit? There appears to be some sort of option for this in the editing panel, but does there need to be a COG for it?
I know it's not a cog because it is in ZED's sector editor panel, and you just click the SOUND+ panel to choose your sound. For JKedit though, not sure, sorry.
Try these cogs 00_playambient.cog or 00_playambient2.cog. It uses a thing or ghost object by using a wav.file as a sound source that goes from loud to silence as you approach or walk away from the thing source.
