I work on it for a while, then get frustrated, then life gets in the way and another year rolls by.
But I do keep coming back to it. I am enjoying the process.
Making a comprehensive set of levels from scratch (well not from scratch, I mean I don't have to program the engine!) involves WAY more than I thought. But it is coming along and I keep chipping away at it. So far there has not been one idea that I have had to delete because I couldn't figure out how to implement it. I almost had to with my big worm puppet, but I finally got it to work last year. I'm certainly not as good at the architecture as some (there are some absolutely beautiful loooking levels being made!), nor am I a great programmer (some of the cogs written, I can't even wrap my head around), but I am creating a story that I feel is working great, and I hope a few people (eventually) find fun. With that said, back to the real world for a while ...
