Hi. I recently downloaded and installed Jedi Knight Enhanced. Everything went fine, and when I ran the JKE.bat file it took me to the game, but the only problem is I cannot load the levels. Does anyone have an idea why? My graphic specs are 32.0 Memory, and 1024 x 768 ( 32 bit) ( 60Hz) Display. The 3D is enabled in the game. Thanks in advance for your help.

i have that same problem i did as the directions said to install it but can't load level? how do u manage to fix this?

can someone just help me out on the can not load level problem its buggin me and i wanna play any help at all cause im runnin on a dell computer and i dont think thats a problem! any help? id gladly appreciate it = ]

Check that you can load a level without JKE installed. Then, tell us if you can or not. If you can't load a level from unmodified JK, then it isn't JKE that is the problem (as should be obvious).

If unmodified JK works, but with JKE it does not, then tell us exactly what you installed and where the JKE files are.

yeah my game works i just installed this game the other day again without this mod to it and works perfect like new, loaded the level on narshadda like it should with the cutscene and than after that with the dead man on the table lol but yeah ill tell u how i installed this ok i installed this mod it works too cause its got the rainbow colored characters in multiplayer selection and i fixed my 3d settings to the game so i can c how awsome the characters got transformed into than the old ones, so i no i got it in plus i got the JKE.bat in my jk dictionary along with the JK-Extension.dll in my dictionary and a new folder in there called JKE with the JKE.gob in there and i run JKE.bat and it starts up the game but can not load level? wats goin on? my game is fine, the mod is working, it just wont let me load a single player level!

I can load a regular singlerplayer game using the regular JK Launcher. However, when I launch it with the JKE.bat file, it won't let me load the level. I followed the instructions of the patch, and then I copied the JKE and JKE.bat files into the Jedi Knight Directory. I then clicked the JKE.bat file and extracted it ( Perhaps that was wrong?). I then clicked it again and it brought up the game, but it couldn't load the first level.

yeah any help here? id really appreciate it and been willing to play this new mod as soon as possible! how are all these other people havin no issues?! anyway yeah how do i fix this?! its pissin me off and makes me wanna throw the cd out the damn window! LOL

Are you able to load multiplayer levels?
Does JK give you an error message, or crash out when you try to load games?
And by "loading" a level, are you referring to loading a saved game, starting a new game, or both?

Sorry I didn't really clarify that. By "loading" level, I mean both. I tried staring a new game and re-loading a previous game and neither worked. As for the multi player, my router at this time does not support the JK port so until that time I cannot tell you about it, though I doubt it. Lastly, it gives me the error message " Level cannot load!"

I'm not sure what you are doing here. You cant "extract" the jke.bat file. That file is just to launch the game with the mod.

In your jedi knight directory, you should have:

A folder called JKE which contains JKE.gob
JKE.bat

I re-did it and it worked. It seems I must have installed the patch incorrectly, but it now works. Thanks

im still having issues can some one just tell me wat exact files i need and where those exact files need to be?

I just did...

Download JK_Enhanced.zip

Open the readme and follow the instructions. It's pretty straightforward!
