Well, there are several ways to play JK.
The easiest way to play is by GameRanger.
It supports not only to JK, but for several other games, and is free.
All it takes is a register.

The only problem with this game mode is that the number of players is not very large, and can be difficult to find people.

Another way would be by the IRC.
In gamesurge server, there is a channel where games are played online, the # jk.
You can get there using the jklauncher or another IRC client.
The difference is that the jklauncher shows you the matches that are happening.

The last way would be with the help of rbots.
In this way, if you can not play with other players you can add bots to play in all modes and maps of JK (except maps made by other players who need to manually add rbots).
This mod would be nice to make a gameplay of multiplayer maps.

These are the ways that I know and use. I hope I have helped you ^ ^

I also use the HUB launcher on occasion. Havent tried it with my CD-Free versions though but I'm sure it works the same.

I think I tried the JKLauncher, but it didn't work.

I know for the bare version of MotS etc it works ok. I was playing with a patched version and it worked. Just gotta make sure all members have the same patches etc

Jklauncher works very well with me.

Here is the web site of the channel.

But like I said, if you want to make a gameplay with comments of Canyon Oasis (example) and have no one to play, the best alternative is rbots. There is also Rbots for Mysteries of the Sith.

I've used RBots. It's just not as fun as real multiplayer.

If you put 16 bots and put on hard difficulty, it is very funny xD
Anyway, it's more fun than having no one :/

Maybe we can not set a date to play multiplayer?
Why do not you make a video calling the people to play?
Post 07-Jan-2012 18:19

I would play thats for sure. Its been a while since i played with real people.

That would really be cool! JK Hub members battling each other on MP. Might make a good video...

Yeah it would...

Ok GibbaGobba you've convinced me. . .
I'll host a JK or MotS MP game.
Lets start a regular schedule.
Something like saturday and sunday nights, like 8PM EST (-5 GMT) lol.

KamOn What problems do you have?
Post 14-Jan-2012 17:39

That old problem ... I try to host a game and the program tells me about a Port-Restricted Cone NAT: /
The worst is that I know how to do it, but the message later :/
I also tried opening the ports that are on this site here:
http://www.jkcommunity.co.nr/

With that I do not know if I open these or those of GameRanger :/

Changing the subject:
If we start playing online would be better to open another project?
To organize the games and maybe the tournament?

I ask everyone's opinion. ^ ^
