JED is a level editor for Jedi Knight/MotS. Its main purpose is to edit the geometry aspect of the level. Although JK levels consist of many aspects which can be edited, JED does not edit textures, sound, or text resources editing like COG, AI etc. JED can link them with the level and treat them properly, but the main things JED does are geometry, object placement, COG linking, texturing.
