Ah, Liquidville, a level I made which indeed took over a huge portion of my life a few years ago, and for those of you that remember it, will instantly recall how, in most aspects, bad it was. Yes, it was my first level, and yes it was bad, but fruitless it wasn't, and I can't remember having more fun than it was making it.
The idea of it was to make a town to my exact liking - a place I'd love to live you see, and as for the name... I was going through some bizarre 'liquid' phase, and this resulted in everything ranging from my nick at the time, LiquidMagic, to a silly disaster of a clan I started called LiquidJedi. Anyway, as most things I've done, I never actually finished it, but I did release beta's as I went along and these proved oddly popular, amonst little RPG kiddies at least *cringe*.
Anyway, as it is, I've been working on a new version, in exactly the same light, but this time I know a thing or two about making levels and so on. Whether you love the idea or loathe it, suit yourself, but there's something massively rewarding about making a little town, heh.
Oh, and if you're willing (I must warn you, however, that I'm the kind of person to work on something, leave it for quite a while, and then maybe come back to it later) I'd appreciate the odd cog-writer and model maker.
