Live by the Force
JK Weapon Arms are the arm meshes of the player model as things, linked together, in a sort of ragdoll type way.
When using a weapon, your head will slightly pitch up/down/left/right, along with your arms (as a normal human body would aim), completely tossing out the unrealistic back bending feats of our old friend Kyle Katarn.
When using the saber, control changes completely. Move your mouse up/down/left/right, and your arms with saber move around your body. Move the mouse all the way to the end range and you'll look/rotate in that direction. This allows for, to put it simply, mouse swinging for saber swings.
For example, swing your mouse up->down and your arms will move from above your head, to all the way down, performing a swing. You can charge your swing for heavier hits using Fire1, but you have to release and then move in the direction you want for the best swing possible. (timing is key!)
And to block lasers or incoming saber swings, hold Fire2, and move your mouse in the general direction of the incoming attack.
I might also incorporate the arm movement in with weapons, so you might be able to swing them as an attack (Conc Smacks anyone?), and block lasers or saber swings with a weapon. But then, bye bye weapon after it sustains enough damage, and a small explosion is in your hands, lol.
I would also like to incorporate two sabers and saber staffs, with saber handle damage. Oh! Since each hand is a thing, two sabers, or even two.... imperial repeaters for example, is a snap! =D
JK Weapon Arms will probably feature a few new things, like acrobatics and whatnot, along with a few force powers, and who knows, items.

Live by the Force is the underlying First Person/Jedi mechanics and will be featured in JK Tactical Assault.
