Health and Shield fonts

New replacement available for the health/shields font. This is the same font, but without the fuzzy LED effect.

New msgfont16 available

Version 2 of msgfont16.sft (in-game chat/scoresheet font) uses thinner, less likely to overlap characters, and has a broader range of colors to choose from.

Note: The hard part (lining up characters, altering them to work with JK, and re-indexing them with JKPaint) is already done for anyone who would like to extract it with JKPaint, magic wand it, and change the color (or apply a pattern) to one of their own choosing. This can be a rather quick process assuming that JKPaint doesn't "disappear" as you go to re-import the .bmp

small0.sft and small1.sft

The small menu font has been replaced with a more crisp looking one. Modders feel free to use this, but keep in mind that the last two rows in the pallet of a .bm are reserved for the .sft, and the .sft seems to get its transparent index from uicolormap (which confuses me, but seems to be true).

Message fonts for public use.

I painstakingly created these message fonts with Photoshop and JKPaint to replace the difficult to read default chat message fonts.

You're free to use these fonts in your own mods, but please credit me (Nesseight) and where you got them from (JKHub.net) in the readme so others may find this page.

If there's a demand, I'll re-make the rest of the fonts, including 8-bit variants and menu fonts, too, but it's a long process and may take a while.
